POSITION DETAILS
- Title: Band Leader
- Reporting to: Worship Ministry Director
- Role Type: Support role within the Worship Ministry
- Oversees: Service Programming and Production Team Leader

WORSHIP MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Musician Recruitment & Development: Recruit and develop high-quality musicians, fostering a culture of musical excellence and spiritual growth.
- Worship Service Coordination: Manage the scheduling and coordination of worship services, ensuring musicians and vocalists are effectively aligned for each service.
- Rehearsal Management: Oversee Thursday and Sunday rehearsal logistics, coordinating with musicians and the Production Team to ensure seamless service preparation.
- Music Curation and Integration: Select and blend existing audio tracks and pads into our worship arrangements, enriching the worship experience with professionally crafted musical layers.
- Song Selection: Collaborate with the Worship Ministry Director to select songs and introduce new music, enriching worship experiences.
- Worship Song Leadership: Lead worship songs to engage and unite the congregation in a shared spiritual experience.

SERVICE PROGRAMMING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service Flow Management: Update Planning Center Online with accurate service flow details, ensuring seamless worship experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Pastor, Worship Ministry Director, and Production Team Leader to align service programming with the church's overall vision.
- Technical Coordination: Provide direction to the Production Team to align technical aspects with the service’s thematic and musical intentions, ensuring flawless execution.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Implement systems for gathering feedback on service programming and making iterative improvements to meet the congregation's needs better.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership Experience: 1-3 years of related experience in leading bands and managing volunteers, with an emphasis on understanding band dynamics and worship environment production.
- Musical Proficiency: Exceptional talent vocally and in playing instruments such as keys or guitar, with a strong ability in music production, arrangement, and performance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in music-related software such as Pro-Tools, Multitracks, Ableton Live.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
- Compensation Rate: [To be determined based on experience]
- Hours per Week: Approximately 15-20 hours
- Rehearsals: Thursdays 6:30-8:30PM
- Worship Experiences: Sundays 7:30AM – 12:30PM
- Meetings: Participation in weekly Service Programming and monthly Lead Team meetings
- Additional: Participation in special services and church events as scheduled.
